THE XLP APPROACH
What We Handle. What You Bring.
XLP handles release checks, delivery administration and catalog support. You provide the finished music, accurate release details and necessary permissions, and lead your promotion. Clear responsibilities help us move a release forward together.
READY TO RELEASE
We want to hear what you’ve been working on and understand where you’re headed. Ideally, you’ll have 12 finished songs and a release calendar planned three months ahead. Previously released songs count. They show us you can finish a project and put it into the world.
Please send your complete release materials four weeks before release day, along with a one sheet and high quality promotional photos. For singles, include the main mix, instrumental, a cappella, and a DJ intro edit with eight instrumental bars before the song starts. We also encourage a clean version of every explicit song.
Sometimes a record takes off sooner than expected. We’re open to smaller catalogs and faster turnarounds when the opportunity is right. We’ll discuss what’s possible and confirm the timing with you.

ROYALTIES & MONETIZATION
Use your client console to review royalty reports and reported earnings. For a question about a statement, include the reporting period and release title so we can investigate the specific entry. Monetization options depend on the rights you control and platform eligibility.

CATALOG MANAGEMENT
Inside Your Client Console
After approval and onboarding, your secure client console brings releases, royalty reports and performance analytics into one account. Use it to keep track of your catalog and review the information available for your music.

SEE WHAT'S WORKING
Compare activity across your releases and look for changes around a campaign or new single. Use the available performance data to decide which songs to promote next and where to focus your effort.
WHEN YOU NEED HELP, WE'RE HERE
For a release issue, contact XLP with the artist name, release title, affected platform and a link or screenshot. Include the UPC or ISRC if available and any deadline. These details help us investigate; a phone call can be arranged when a conversation would help.

Find Your Release Home
You don’t need your own company or label to apply. Tell us about your music and your current setup, and we’ll consider where you fit.
The Beat Tape Factory is home to producers releasing instrumental beats. Sounds like Tape and XLP Distribution welcome artists across all genres.
If we move forward together, we’ll discuss the right home for your music.
