From the Studio to the Business
Donald XL Robertson founded XLP in 2003 after establishing his career as a producer in New Orleans. His work expanded from making records into publishing, entrepreneurship and independent music distribution.
Donald XL Robertson
A New Orleans producer and music entrepreneur, Donald XL Robertson joined No Limit as an in-house producer in 1999. His credits include work for Master P, Silkk the Shocker and Soulja Slim, as well as UTP’s “Nolia Clap.”
He remains an active recording artist and producer. That experience gives XLP a perspective shaped by both creating music and running a music business.
