What should I prepare?
Share a listening link to two or three of your strongest tracks, your artist profiles, and your release plans. Ideally, you’ll have 12 finished songs, including previously released music. We also consider standout records and smaller catalogs. Private links should open without an access request.
Do I need a large following?
No. We look for consistent posting, quality content, and genuine engagement. Meaningful comments and conversations help us understand your connection with listeners.
Does applying guarantee acceptance?
No. We review each application for fit. If selected, you’ll complete your agreement, account setup, and catalog planning before we deliver your music.
How far ahead should I plan?
Planning three months ahead is ideal, not a requirement. We’d love to know what you have in the works. Please submit complete release materials four weeks before release day. We may consider faster turnarounds for exceptional opportunities. XLP will confirm what’s possible and agree on the timing with you.
